Over the past 3 years, Athenry Credit Union has grown rapidly with the merging of Athenry Credit Union, Menlough Credit Union and Kilkerrin Clonberne Credit Unions into one single Credit Union. Having a strong IT Platform was key to the success of the project and Progress have delivered this platform delivering the functionality required by Athenry Credit Union for our members across all our offices.
As one of Irelands largest Credit Unions, the INTO Credit Union has been using Progress as our IT System provider for many years. From our main office in Parnell Square, we provide nationwide financial services to the teacher community and Progress have lived up to the demands that we put on all our key partners.
Having a good working relationship with Progress for many years, Firhouse Credit Union Ltd decided to approach Progress in order to update our website completely to include an online banking facility for our members. The whole process has proven to be very successful. We received full training for the Credit Union Staff and if we have any queries the Progress staff is only a phone call away and are always very helpful. The New Website is very easy to navigate and user friendly, for both administration purposes and member usage. So far we have had a great up take on the website with many new applications for pin numbers. Our Member feedback has been very encouraging, with a high uptake of the online banking facility. We would recommend Progress to any other Credit Union wishing to update and improve their website.
Our operational motto is “Progress - dedicated to Credit Unions” and we continually strive to grow our business in line with this ethos. Over the past ten years, we have grown our user base by over 200% and together with our users, we have built and continue to build the most functional rich System available to Credit Unions in Ireland and the UK. IT requirements of Credit Unions has also hugely changed over the past ten years with the widespread adoption of Web and App based mobile technology for Credit Union Users and Progress continues to be at the forefront of rolling out this technology to the Credit Union movement.
